My New Corn Dog

I ran across these little cuties along time ago and instantly fell in love with them.  Sooo, right after we finished eating at The Star Cafe, we moseyed on over to The General Store to see what goodies they had.  And guess what I found, Corn Dog.  He was just sitting there waiting for me to take him home.  Isn't he cute.

So now, every time we run across them I have to get a new one.  Of course, I only have three now, but one at a time.

Fort Worth Stock Show

We got up early and headed out to the Fort Worth Stock Show to see my nephew, Seth show his goat for FFA.  Boy was it cold, but once we got in the barns, they had heaters going and we quickly shucked our coats.  Seth had been there since around 6:00am, so he was ready to get the show over with I think.  He didn't place, but did a good job.  Afterward, we walked around and looked at all of the exhibits and then we all went and ate at The Star Cafe.  Yum Yum!!!  Then back home and called it a day.

Where have I been...

Wow, it's been along time since I posted.  Guess I've just been too busy with everyday life.  I have really been quilting and sewing alot.  Well, alot for me.  In between school and everyday house work.  I started back to school last week.  Only two courses this semester, Pre-algebra and Government II.  Looks like it's going to be alot easier this semester than last.

I have other things going on in my life right now keeping me busy and I'm really excited about a few things.

First, my oldest daughter Mandy is expecting my FIRST granddaughter in May.  I am so excited.  Between Bill and myself, we have 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.  So I was so excited to find out that she is having a girl.  Bill is worried about his wallet.  They (Mandy and Ryan) decided on her name.  She will be called Bella Danielle.  Is that not a beautiful name?  I'm sure she will live up to it if she looks anything like her mom.  Yes, I am a little prejudice, but I can be.

Now don't get me wrong, I love my grandsons, but I am really, really excited about Miss Bella entering this world.

Also, in May, I have my youngest daughter, Amy graduating from Texas A&M Commerce with her teaching degree.  Talking about being a proud Mama.  I am so proud of her for sticking with it through all of her ups and downs she has had to face the last few years.  And, on the President's Scholars list.  She is amazing..

So proud of my both my girls and son-in-laws.  Once Amy graduates in May, both of my girls and son-in-laws will have their degrees out of the way and can excel from there.

Oh yeah, one more thing in May.  Whew!!  It's gonna be a busy month.  My nephew, Seth will graduate from Sanger High School.  What's my sister gonna do with her time?  Really need to get her crafting, but just really don't see that happening.

One more thing, I've been asked to be the 2nd Vice President with the Wise County Quilt Guild.  I will be publishing the Monthly Newsletter and the Blog.  Wish me luck.  I hope I can do them both justice.
